CYCLE ROUTES
Zlín region is situated in the southeastern part of the Czech Republic from Chřiby hills over the Morava and Dřevnice rivers, in the north and east and slightly lifted Hostýnské and Vizovické hills. Almost half of the Zlín region is filled with Bilé Karpaty in the southeastern back to the Moravian-Slovak border, where we find romantic places of natural beauty with its original vegetation, rare plants and animals.
On a bike you can explore the functionalist style of Zlín, the cycle route runs along the river to the ZOO on one side and on the other continues along the Morava River and the Baťa Canal. The fertile area in the Morava River basin with lots of lakes where you can swim in summer season. And the whole year you can go fishing, go for family trips and also bike ride. There also wine cellars nearby Baťa Canal.
Zlín region has also Luhačovice Spa with healing springs, colonnades, Dušan Jurkovič architecture and a dam. In Wallachia you can smell a famous scent of plum Vizovice liqueur or wine cellars in Mařatice, a short walk from the Baťa Canal.
BUS FOR CYCLISTS
In Zlín region you have the possibility to use buses for cyclists and also trains with this servis. You can use the morning transportation with your bikes i.g. to the surrounding hills and then take a relaxing ride down the trails. Or you can go for a long bike ride and back to get a drive back by the bus. Bus stop for the bus for cyclists is 50 meters away and the train station is 300 meters away, the next stops in the centre and the bus stop for long routes are at the bus station.
